BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide that promotes healing, reduces inflammation, and supports cellular regeneration across multiple tissue types — including muscle, tendon, ligament, gut lining, and nervous tissue.
BPC-157 works through several mechanisms: stimulates angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) for accelerated healing; modulates nitric oxide production; promotes growth factor synthesis (FGF, EGF, VEGF); accelerates fibroblast migration for tissue repair; reduces inflammatory cytokines; supports gut barrier integrity.
Tendon and ligament healing — accelerated recovery from sprains, strains, and overuse injuries. Muscle injury recovery — faster healing from strains and tears. Gut health — supports intestinal lining repair, reduces leaky gut syndrome, may help IBS and inflammatory conditions. Joint health — supports cartilage and synovial tissue. Post-surgical recovery — accelerates healing after surgery or aesthetic procedures. Wound healing — supports skin regeneration.
Pre-treatment health assessment. Dr. Indianos personalizes dosing based on your injury, healing goals, and concurrent treatments. Forms include subcutaneous injection (systemic effect) or local injection (targeted to injury site). Often stacked with TB-500 (synergistic healing) or with Sermorelin/CJC-Ipa for systemic regenerative support. All compounded by state-licensed 503A pharmacies (Empower, RUSH, Boom RX, Southend) under USP 797 standards.
Athletes recovering from injury. Adults with chronic tendinopathy or joint issues. Patients seeking gut health support. Post-surgical or post-aesthetic-procedure healing acceleration. Active aging populations supporting joint and tissue health.
Contraindications: Active malignancy, pregnancy/breastfeeding, severe disease.
Generally well-tolerated. Possible mild injection site reactions, occasional dizziness, mild headache. Most resolve in 1-2 weeks.
