SkinCeuticals, EltaMD, and other medical-grade lines — recommended by Dr. Indianos to maintain and protect your aesthetic results between treatments.
Medical-Grade Skincare (pharmaceutical-grade actives) is a prescription medical-grade skincare that temporarily relaxes specific facial muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles — the lines created by repeated expression. Done well, it looks like a refreshed version of you. Done poorly, it looks frozen, asymmetric, or droopy. The difference is who holds the syringe.
At Bespoke Aesthetics, every Medical-Grade Skincare injection is performed personally by Dr. Carolyn Indianos, MD — not delegated to nurse injectors or estheticians. Dr. Indianos is fellowship-trained in regenerative and aesthetic medicine, with deep anatomical knowledge of facial musculature, vasculature, and the seventh cranial nerve. That training shows up in dosing precision, injection placement, and the ability to anticipate how individual faces will respond.
Glabellar lines (the “11s”) — the vertical frown lines between the eyebrows. The original FDA-approved cosmetic use, and still the most-treated area.
Forehead lines — horizontal lines from frontalis activation. Treated carefully to preserve natural brow lift.
Crow’s feet — lateral periorbital lines. Softens without affecting genuine smile.
Bunny lines — small wrinkles on the nose bridge that show with smiling or scrunching.
Lip flip / lip lines — subtle injection that gently everts the upper lip and reduces vertical lip lines.
Masseter (jawline slimming, TMJ) — relaxes the jaw muscle for a softer face shape and relief from jaw clenching.
Neck bands (Nefertiti lift) — relaxes platysmal bands for a smoother neckline.
Hyperhidrosis (sweating) — underarms, palms, soles. Medical-Grade Skincare blocks the nerve signal to sweat glands for 6–9 months of relief.
Preventive (typically 25–35): small doses placed strategically before deep static lines form. Slows the etching process so lines don’t become permanently visible at rest. The earlier you start, the less Medical-Grade Skincare you need long-term.
Therapeutic (typically 35+): higher doses to soften lines that are already etched into the skin at rest. May be combined with microneedling, dermal filler, or biostimulators for layered correction.
Dr. Indianos personalizes dose and placement for your face, age, expression patterns, and goals. There’s no one-size-fits-all “Medical-Grade Skincare plan.”
The visit: 20–30 minutes. Quick consultation, photos, marking, then injections. Numbing isn’t typically needed; needles are very fine.
Onset: first effects appear at 3–5 days; full effect at 10–14 days. Don’t judge results before two weeks.
Duration: 3–4 months for most patients. Some metabolize Medical-Grade Skincare faster (athletes, very expressive faces); some slower. Frequent re-treatment may extend duration over time.
Aftercare: avoid lying flat for 4 hours; no rubbing or facial massage that day; no exercise for 24 hours; no facials, microneedling, or saunas for 24 hours. Gentle skincare is fine.
