The visit

30-45 minutes. Topical numbing cream applied 15 minutes before injection. Most HA fillers also contain lidocaine for additional comfort.

Reversibility

Aftercare

That is the goal. Dr. Indianos doses conservatively and places filler with anatomic precision, starting with 0.5 to 1 syringe for first-time patients so you can add more later if you want it.
6 to 9 months on average with Restylane Kysse, depending on your metabolism. Lips have high blood flow which can accelerate filler breakdown.
Mild discomfort. Topical numbing cream is applied 15 minutes before injection, and HA fillers contain lidocaine for additional comfort. Most patients describe it as a 3 out of 10 on the pain scale.
Yes, HA fillers can often be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This is an off-label use of the enzyme and may take more than one session. It typically breaks down HA within about 24 to 48 hours, though timing varies. This is one reason Dr. Indianos uses HA for lips, though dissolving cannot guarantee your exact original appearance.
